Hello and welcome back to my weekly thoughts!

Today I want to talk about food and portioning correctly.

I have a bit of an interesting relationship with food, at times I find it bothersome and a chore to eat, I often wish it was a choice instead of a necessity, but none the less I enjoy eating good food as much as the next person, and being full is satisfying.

That being said, when I do find some food that I enjoy eating I tend to get carried away and eat as much of it as my stomach will have, this has even lead me to throw up in some extreme cases.

Even if I don't throw up, I'll usually feel bloated and uncomfortable after eating so much, it's kind of a wasting the enjoyment of my food.

So correctly portioning has definitely been a struggle for me, it's either feast or famine, quite literally I'll eat everything tasty immediately and then not leave myself something for later, but recently this has changed.

I've discovered the joy of eating a meal and just feeling satisfied afterwards, my rule of thumb is to eat as much as you can while still wanting more, if you still want just a liiiiiitttle more by the end of your meal then I think you did it perfect.

With this strategy I eat exactly as much as my body needs and then I'm not upset from an overflowing stomach afterwards, I'm still not flawless at it but when I manage to limit myself correctly it feels very rewarding.

Anyway, that's all I have to say today, hopefully I've been able to entertain you for a few minutes.

As always, goodbye and have a wonderful week! :)
