Hello and welcome back to my weekly thoughts!
Today I want to talk about snow!
Snow harbors many thoughts for me: "It's so cold out right now", "Everything looks so pretty and relaxing", "I'm not driving anywhere for the next few weeks."
I look at snow with great fondness, especially when thinking of it from my childhood's perspective, yet I can't help but loath it at times as well.
I think as I've grown older the snow has become more and more annoying, it makes the roads unsafe, it contributes to my cold room at night, even taking a walk becomes a hassle, a very distinct feeling of duality is attached to snow for me.
Most intense weather ilicits this type of reaction though, whether it be too cold or too hot I usually wish it was the opposite, and I catch myself thinking this way every time, but it's only natural, all I want is nice balanced weather.
I suppose it only lasts for a short time where I live typically, so I can just enjoy the pretty scenery for the moment and it will all pass, soon enough it will clear out and I won't be able to look at it anymore.
Hopefully you're happy and able to enjoy the moment today. :)
As always, thanks for reading and have a great day!
I love the axiom that there is no good or bad weather, just weather. It is we that place our perspective on the weather.
