Bad Days

Hello and welcome back to my weekly thoughts!


Today I want to talk about bad days!



I recently had a bad day, I think it happened because of some unpleasant news I got at the beginning of the day, I'm still very much of the mindset that the way you start your day tends to impact everything else throughout.


Either way, it was a bad day, and when you're upset you never perform your best, whether that be leisurely tasks that you choose to engage in, or work related tasks you need to finish on a deadline.


It was inevitable that I would have a bad day, and it's inevitable that I will have more in the future, that's not to say that I should fear those days and let them make my good days feel worse, but rather I figured I should devise strategies to lessen the impact of them if they're going to continue to happen.


Usually sticking to simple and fun things is an easy way to combat bad days, stuff that you can't possible do wrong, like watching a fun TV show or going out to eat, a lot of the time I think it's better to fill these bad days in ways you might not usually pursue.


For these reasons I like to keep track of my habits, a lot of things I enjoy doing can be challenging at times, and when I'm having a bad day I get frustrated really easily and then before I know it I'm bring my bad mood into the next day.


So acknowledging the bad feeling and taking a slow day is how I like to deal with such stresses, obviously there's gonna be days I'll have to work anyway but there will always be moments durings those days to take it easy and break free of my habits.
