Improvement

Hello and welcome back to my weekly thoughts!

Today I'm going to keep it brief, but I want to talk about the feeling of improvement!

I've been working hard to improve in many areas in my recent years, one of those areas being musical composition, something I'm particularly proud of is my latest project which is my arcade themed album.

I've always wanted to make an album like this but I wasn't happy with my compositional skills until now, I know I'll look back one day and realize all that I could have done better, but I'm really happy with how it's coming out all the same.

It feels good to know that not too long ago I wouldn't have known where to start with something like this, but now I'm simultaneously creating instruments, composing, mixing and mastering all on my own.

To my surprise it's not even too difficult either, 8bit arcade music is pretty simplistic and fun to make, what a pleasant eye opener!

I say all of this in an effort to communicate that improvement is very possible, and things you want to try might be easier than you expect, hopefully you're trying hard for the things you love as well! :)
