Hello and welcome back to my weekly thoughts!

Today I want to talk about trying new things~

These days I'm in a pretty statgnant position, kind of just biding my time until I can get out into the world, maybe you've experienced this as well, it's times like these that I find trying new things to be quite refreshing!

It's easy to confine yourself to things you're familiar with, and to be scared that you won't enjoy different things, and indeed there's probably a whole lot that you won't enjoy, but finding a new thing that you DO enjoy is particularly satisfying.

Not to mention, even if you don't like the thing you just tried I think it's fun to tell yourself "Hey I went and tried something", because now you know for a fact that you do not like that thing, and you can make more informed decisions in the future in regard to similar situations.

For me, trying something new today was eating some food I've never tried before, now I hate wasting food so it's not a super pleasant thought when ordering that you might not even eat your dish, but I found that mostly everything was simply edible.

I don't have a very broad pallet yet so I didn't thoroughly enjoy a lot of the dishes, but I know I can at least eat these new things without throwing up or making a funny face.

So I encourage you to try something new if you're given the opportunity, there's a time and place for comfort, but generally speaking doing new things helps you grow!

As always, thanks for reading and have a spectacular week! :)
